Basil Oil (Holy)

Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi or as the botanical Ocimum tenuiflorum and Ocimum sanctum .Holy basil is native to the Indian subcontinent and grows throughout Southeast Asia. Basil is annual Herb and grows 20-50 cm (8-20 in); when in bloom the purple- white flowers appear in clusters, framed by oval pointed green leaves Plant. The plant is widely used in Ayurvedic and folk medicine.

It is enriched with vitamins and flavonoids that help maintain healthy skin and hair. As per Ayurveda, Holy Basil essential oil is distilled for aromatic, medicinal and spiritual purposes.

In Aromatherapy the age-defying properties in basil leaves help reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Basil leaves are a wonderful choice of natural remedy to clear out pores and to get a naturally glowing skin. It can also be used as an ‘energizer’ in room diffusers it is thought to stimulate the creative receptors in the brain when working (a good one to sneak into the office!).
