Blue Chamomile Oil

Matricaria chamomilla is a member of the Asteraceae family, native to southern and eastern Europe. Today the plant can be found on all continents.[6] It has a branched, erect and smooth stem, which grows to a height of 15–60 cm (6–23.5 in).

Matricaria chamomilla, commonly known as chamomile, German chamomile, Hungarian chamomile, wild chamomile, blue chamomile, or scented mayweed, is an annual plant of the composite family Asteraceae.

Chamomile Blue essential oil is extracted from Matricaria chamomilla (M. Recutica) of same family and is also well recognized by the names of blue chamomile, Hungarian chamomile & single chamomile. It has a sweet, straw-like fragrance and is dark blue in color with medium viscosity.

Chamomile oil has a soothing, calming and balancing effect which can be beneficial for irritability, anger, anxiety, stress and tension.
